Laura welcomes you in our 5 star hotel, The Elysia. Our Inwood Lover is a receptionist and loves to advise our clients. In this article, she shares her passion for dance by telling us about her crush on the Opera Garnier.

Laura recommends the Palais Garnier, the Paris Opéra

The Palais Garnier, also called the Paris National Opera, is a symbolic place of Paris and its heritage. Located in the 9th arrondissement, the Palais Garnier is a temple of lyrical and choreographic opera. People go there to see operas and ballets. You can also visit this historical monument: take a look at the golden architecture of this emblematic place of French culture.

Laura, with a smile on her face, tells us: "Dance has always been a passion for me. When I was little, I practiced classical dance. Ballet was and still is my dream. The whole universe speaks to me: the costumes, the music, the dancers... This monument is for me a must to visit".

"Being very sensitive to art and its beauty, I've always been thrilled by the performances I've seen at the Palais Garnier despite the high standards I set!”

Our Inwood Loveuse recommends that you go to see a ballet. She confides to us: "You will be amazed by the decor of the hall, the star dancers, the orchestra... I am seduced every time I go to this magnificent place! ».

Laura, moved, tells us an anecdote about her first visit to the Palais Garnier: "When I visited the Palais Garnier for the first time, my eyes sparkled and I couldn't help smiling at the beauty of this place but also at its history. As I walked around, I saw the costumes of the emblematic ballets such as The Swan Lake or La Bayadère. It was the highlight of my visit. I dreamt I was a star dancer wearing these sumptuous costumes. »

Ballet is an art. As Martha Graham said, "Dance is the hidden language of the soul".
