FROM THE LEGAL WORLD TO FIVE-STAR LUXURY: MEET SOUROUR, ACCOMMODATION MANAGER

Behind the hushed elegance and high Haussmannian ceilings of Hotel Elysia hide personalities with unique backgrounds. Among them, Sourour, Accommodation Manager, perfectly embodies the French art of hosting, tinged with unfailing generosity and a rigor forged at the highest international standards. Yet, nothing initially predestined Sourour to prestige hospitality.

Holding a master's degree in law, she quickly grew weary of the overly theoretical legal world and decided to follow her intuition by enrolling in an MBA in hospitality management in Tunisia. After a notable debut with French tour operators, her multilingual profile and innate interpersonal skills caught the attention of the prestigious Kempinski group. She was then headhunted to become Guest Relations Manager, and subsequently Head of Sales, Protocol, and Government Relations in Abu Dhabi within a monumental palace of 400 rooms and suites, the "Emirates Palace," ranked the best palace in the world in 2005.

This Emirati immersion laid the foundations for her vision of the profession: luxury does not reside in material ostentation, but in attitude, poise, and absolute respect for others. It was there that she learned to master the codes of every culture and anticipate the slightest demands of prestigious guests, cherishing exceptional moments, such as the visit of Queen Elizabeth II, for whom she notably helped find the ideal address to tailor her suit using local fabrics ahead of her visit.

After these intense and formative years in the Middle East, a major personal event reshaped her priorities. Driven by the desire to be closer to her family, Sourour made the choice to settle in France. A brand new chapter unfolded: the discovery of a country, a new lifestyle culture, and a Parisian hotel scene renowned for its refinement, where she chose to anchor her professional future while cultivating personal projects essential to her balance.

In 2014, armed with this international experience, Sourour chose to join the establishment then named Champs-Élysées Plaza. After the immense scale of Abu Dhabi, this Parisian boutique hotel offered her a rare opportunity: to become a true mistress of the house, close to her guests and able to forge privileged bonds to build their loyalty, all while preserving a precious personal life balance.

When the hotel joined Inwood Hotels to be reborn under the name Hotel Elysia, Sourour played the role of a reassuring pillar for her teams. During the pivotal period of Covid, management entrusted her with a new strategic mission: she transitioned from Reservations Manager to Accommodation Manager. An evolution that illustrates the trust granted by the group, whose dynamic expansion and managerial benevolence she praises today.

Leading a team of thirteen associates, Sourour stands out for her unfailing determination, always ready to pave new paths to overcome the slightest challenge. Her days invariably begin with attentive listening to her teams. This benevolent approach allows her to cultivate perfect harmony and soften the daily routine of everyone through an anticipation of absolute precision.

Faithful to her values of honesty and candor, she favors human potential and authenticity over a mere resume. Committing with unfailing loyalty to her associates, her greatest pride remains seeing the talents she trains grow, some of whom now work in the most illustrious Parisian palaces.

At Hotel Elysia, Sourour continues to orchestrate a tailor-made stay where every detail matters, from the thoughtful welcome of our international guests to the attentions reserved for their four-legged companions, proving every day that true five-star luxury lies above all in the sincerity of the heart.
