THE ELYSIA LOVES LA NUIT AUX INVALIDES

If you are visiting Paris this summer, you must go to the Hôtel des Invalides one evening. Every year for the past 10 years, a magnificent sound and light show has been held in this historic Parisian monument.

To get there, we advise you to go through the Esplanade des Invalides. This esplanade linking the Alexandre III bridge to the Hôtel des Invalides, offers a magnificent perspective on the city's most beautiful monuments. The Hôtel des Invalides, located at the end of the Esplanade, is a real architectural treasure. Originally, it was dedicated to disabled soldiers who fought for France, today this monument is dedicated to the Ministry of Defence and also houses the Army Museum. We advise you to visit it to admire its treasures from the inside. As soon as you enter the main courtyard, you can admire a collection of artillery that traces 200 years of history. You can then go to the Dome church, a major attraction of the Hôtel des Invalides, containing Napoleon's tomb.

LA NUIT AUX INVALIDES IN PARIS

Since 2012, the Nuit aux Invalides, a sound and light show in the courtyard of the Invalides in Paris, has been held every year. You can discover this monumental show from 16 July to 1 September 2022. Every year, it attracts more and more people, both Parisians and tourists. We strongly recommend you to go there to be amazed by this magnificent 50-minute show.

This 10th edition of the Nuit aux Invalides will invite you to travel back in time with its show entitled "The Flight of the Eagle" and will plunge you into the history of Napoleon. Thus, you will rediscover the life of the Emperor but also the civil and military heritage that he left us.

We recommend this show for the quality of its staging, sound and lighting. Bruno Seillier, the director of this magnificent show, is known throughout France for his work and his ability to create shows that enhance exceptional places. His aim is to arouse emotion, pleasure and wonder in the hearts of the audience.

If you want to spend a wonderful summer evening, we advise you to book your place now on the event's website.
